A few other announcements:

1. I am saddened to report that Father Kohler of Most Holy Trinity had triple bypass surgery last week. The surgery was successful and he is doing well. Call Most Holy Trinity if you have any questions. 313-965-4450.

2. About WDET on the Agenda: The purpose of WDET at our meeting is described below:
"The Detroit Agenda" is an effort of WDET to
engage with the neighborhoods as the city prepares for the council
election. The producers and reporters would like to attend the Residents' Council meeting and be available to those who would like to interview Corktowners afterward. The sound will be used to quiz council candidates and
compile a final report -- "The Detroit Agenda" -- which will be delivered
to the new council in January.

Rashida Supporters at Corktown Residents Council Meeting

Hey Everyone,

Please go to the freep.com and check out Rashida (and Corktowner Scott R in the background) at last night's Res Council mtg...though, its not about the meeting, its about Rashida. Please post comments...Oneita partially bases what she puts on her Sunday print column by the responses to her blog and we need to fight for Rashida at every turn. See the comments already posted.
